Whitechapel Lates: DAYTIMERS, a curated evening of art, live music, workshops, talks and poetry – inspired by artist Hammad Butt’s current exhibition: ‘Apprehensions’. Charged with themes of toxicity, homophobia and racism, Hammad opened up new dialogues between art and science. Expect an immersive mix of sound, space, sci-fi, faith and contemporary South Asian expression.

Arooj Aftab and Ibrahim Maalouf at the BBC Proms. In her Proms debut, Grammy-winning singer Arooj graces the stage with a mesmerising sound – jazz, folk, pop, blues and South Asian classical, swelled to symphonic heights with Jules Buckley and the BBC Symphony Orchestra. Ibrahim opens the night with his quarter-tone trumpet in a similarly evocative performance.
