There’s nothing quite like Holi: it must be seen to be believed. During this playful spring affair, social boundaries are blurred for a few madcap, magical hours.

Across India, friends pelt brightly coloured powders at one another (and unsuspecting passers-by), covering streets in glorious technicolour. At Dishoom, evoking Holi’s vibrant, barmy spirit means to do what we love most: bring people from all walks of life together to have fun and celebrate differences. Our Bombay-inspired café specials add to the joviality. If you have never joined us on this most joyous occasion, please do.

Colourful café specials & classics
After a day spent getting colour-soaked comes sustenance. A comforting meal is required. Dishoom chef-wallas will be cooking up café classics to celebrate and savour. Humble recommendations below:
Holi Special Dahi Batata Puri:— Much-loved Bombay chaat. Crisp puris are filled with batata (potatoes), dahi (fresh yoghurt), liberal green chutney, tangy tamarind and ruby-red pomegranate. Pop the whole orb in your mouth. Feel triumphant.
Chole Puri:— Chickpeas sing with high spice and surprise black tea, with puffed puris and sweet halwa alongside. Much drama but absolute harmony.
CBD Bhang Lassi:— Available year-round, or at Holi, our special version with cheerful dashes of CBD botanical bitters in place of the traditional half oz. of reliable supply. Let minds be calmed and not altered.
